    Travel Baseball Teams

  • Diamond Dogs Baseball is a travel organization that focuses on player development, with 10U-14U teams. Teams are run by professional paid coaching staff that consist of former professional and/or collegiate players and coaches. Diamond Dog players are provided with access to year-round training and all the benefits Diamond & Aces Sports Center training facilities and coaches have to offer. This “elite” membership allows players the opportunity to train on their own schedule and take their game to the next level, in addition to team practices/training sessions. The Diamond & Aces’ Diamond Dogs organization is committed to making you a complete player, while striving to provide the supportive and fun environment necessary to continue to drive a lifelong passion and LOVE for the game of baseball!

    Diamond Dogs Elite Membership

    All players receive a Diamond Dogs Elite Membership at Diamond & Aces, which includes:

    • Same-day, walk-in access to an available cage/tunnel, mound, or ProBatter, and performance gym
    • 25% off 1:1 Lessons and Individual Personal Training sessions
    • 25% off classes, clinics, & programs
    • 10% off Glove Relacing services
    • 20% off Pro Shop in-stock and special-order merchandise, including Rawlings / Easton bats and gloves

    Flex Spending Package

    Each player on the roster will be given a credit, valued at $150, to be used towards skill-development programs and/or private lessons at Diamond & Aces Sports Center.

  • UPCOMING TRYOUT INFORMATION

    2024-2025 Winter / Spring Season

    Season Timeframe: December 2024 - June 2025 (Winter workouts start 1st week of Dec., with tournaments beginning end of Feb/early March through end of June)

    Tryout Fees: $10 per player. For players who earn and accept a roster spot, the $10 fee will be credited towards their initial deposit.

    Team Sizes: We expect 12-14 roster spots to be filled per team.

     

    Players eligibility based on age as of May 1, 2025 

    Team Practices & Tournament Commitment Expecations

    Practices: Team training starts early December 2024! Practices are expected to be held primarily at Diamond & Aces Sports Center and

    Cary ballfields.

    Tournaments: will be played locally, within 90 minutes or less from Diamond & Aces Sports Center.

    Time Commitment as a Team

    For the Winter / Spring Season, 12u-14u teams expect to play in 7-8 tournaments, and 10u-11u teams expect to play in 6. All teams can expect 1-2 practices weekly, in addition to 1 team training session per week with D&A performance training staff (arm-care, strength, agility/speed, explosiveness training.)

     

    Team practice schedules will be modified to allow for participation on school baseball teams, as needed (mid Feb - April)

     

    Time Expectations (in general):

    • December - January (2 days/week: team practice, performance class)

    • February - April (2-3 days/week: team practice, performance class, tournament as scheduled)

    • May - June (3-4 days/week: team practices (2), performance class, tournaments as scheduled)
